Focus and Scope
The Journal of Educational Management and Evaluation (JEME) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal that publishes research findings, theoretical studies, and policy analyses in educational management and evaluation. This journal serves as a platform for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to develop educational practices that are effective, transparent, and accountable.
The scope of Journal of Educational Management and Evaluation (JEME) includes:
- Educational Management: covers student affairs, curriculum, human resources in education, school-based management (SBM), leadership, governance, and innovations within the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka).
- Educational Evaluation: encompasses program assessment, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), educational audits, and policy impact analysis.
- Educational Policy: focuses on the analysis of national and regional policies, decentralization, and evidence-based reforms.
- Supervision and Professional Development: relates to training, career development, and performance evaluation of educators.
- Educational Technology: such as the Education Management Information System (EMIS), School Activity and Budget Planning System (ARKAS), big data, and the digitalization of evaluation.
- Contextual Issues: including education management in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions, inclusive education, vocational education, and partnerships with the business and industrial sectors (DUDI).
