Peer Review Process

The Journal of Educational Management and Evaluation (JEME) rigorously implements a double-blind peer review process across nine distinct stages to ensure the quality and objectivity of all manuscripts.

The process begins with the submission of a manuscript via OJS. This is followed by an initial screening by the editor, including a format and originality check, and a substantive selection by the Editor-in-Chief.

If the manuscript passes these initial checks, it is then sent to two anonymous expert reviewers. They assess the manuscript based on its methodology, scientific contribution, and relevance to community service. Reviewers provide feedback and recommendations: accepted, revised, or rejected.

The editor evaluates the review outcomes. Should there be significant discrepancies between reviewer recommendations, a third reviewer may be appointed. The final decision is then communicated to the author, who proceeds with revisions. The revised manuscript undergoes a re-evaluation before advancing to the editing and open-access publication stages.

This comprehensive process ensures that every article published in the Journal of Educational Management and Evaluation (JEME) possesses scientific merit and a tangible impact within the field of educational management and evaluation.
